Community Supported Agriculture

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) has become a popular way for consumers to buy locally-grown, seasonal food directly from a farmer. Purchase a share today and enjoy fresh farm food throughout the year!

Food (and more) Fresh From the Farm

Never heard of a CSA? Here's how it works: a farmer offers a certain number of "shares" to the public. Typically the share consists of a box of vegetables and other farm products like fruits, eggs, meats, herbs, and flowers. Interested consumers purchase a share (aka a "membership" or a "subscription") and in return receive boxes (bags, baskets) from the farm’s harvest!

CSA in Kentucky is a Facebook group for anyone interested in learning more about CSA offerings in the bluegrass and for those who already participate or love CSA to share their favorite resources, tips, and ideas.
